Castle Combe A great circuit for all comers. Turbo barges like me and Caterfields the like. With Tower being quite daunting as you need to brake VERY hard and drive out HARD before a quick left right through the 2nd chicane. Camp is fun and fast and by far the most exciting corner is Avon Rise, we managed 120mph in and 90 through it just before braking hard for Quarry. The esses required control on the exit to get Hammerdown right and safe, and judging by the tyre marks loads of people haven't. However, run off areas are good in most places so damage is low risk.
Great day, quite a long way for me, but worth it. Respect to Richard in his VX220 for a gentlemenly drive. Thanks also to the Marshals for looking after us and doing such a good job all day long.
