| I love Donington - and had a wonderful evening on the 20th August with one exception - the GP section of the circuit is terrible, just a nasty, very artificial hairpin then a silly 180 degree bend - the rest of the circuit flows so well that this is a nonsense in comparison. My advice - stick to the National circuit. Doesn't help having a heavy car ! The 180 degree corners are the most fun once you have the confidence to start sliding the car (it might not be the fastest way, but is much more fun). The banked turn 4 is much faster than you think, and you build up you speed steadily through the day. A top track and no noise measurements either!
