Expecting it to be good but it was excellent! Beautiful bends with gradients leading you to a good fast straight. Loads of run offs and even some kitty litter if you like that sort of thing. Track shut down for 90 mins for off-site lunch - Bien sur il faisait trop chaud! A few of us followed most of the Track Marshalls who were eating in a charming & inexpensive restaurant "Le Sabayon" 17 Rue de la Charme in the local Prenois village - They should know best! I will certainly go again and for the full 2 days next time.

AMAZING ! EVERY SINGLE CORNER A JOY AND SOME HIGH SEXUAL ELEVATION CHANGES. IF ONLY IT WERE SITUATED ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF HAMPTON COURT.

Spentorama! It would be worth it just for the first three corners but the rest of the circuit is nearly as good! Can't wait to go back

Elvington
first time on an airfield track day - felt very safe compared with a track! big left hander at start and big right hander at far end have huge run off - so you can push it and just let it drift out if you get it wrong. not sure about the chicanes - a bit too tight & rough. mine's got race set up - about 500lb/in spring rate on 1100kg car - so tended to skip on the bumps with wheel spin under power and lock wheels under braking - makes me think a road setp around 200lb/in would be best on this track. does seem harsh on tyres - went through about 2mm in 50 miles. new layout was long - mrs wondered where I'd disappeared to - but corners quickly learned. so, a lot of fun & a nice location

I'm using the Elise fronts (195/50/15) all round on my ITR and they are by far the best tyre I've ever used on the car. Super stiff sidewalls and brilliant grip and feel. Worth every penny - yay to Lotus!

Ferrari 355
Rich lounge lizards car. Most of us have bought into the 'Ferrari = ultimate sports car' image thing, but what a let down when you drive one. Steering is the slowest thing this side of a nissan micra. Totally univolving experience apart from the speed and the noise - but you can get that at Alton Towers right? V: Not as good as everyone cracks 'em up to be IMHO. Others who have owned them for some time have grown to love them.
