Really flatters faster cars, and one of the few circuits you can actually use the higher gears. I wouldnt like to do it in a low powered car as its a track for high speeds. | | Author | Rating | Driven With | Save Date | | Kristian Dean | | Clio Cup | 12:33 Tue 1 Feb 05 | Despite being a little underpowered I really enjoyed this circuit. The hardcore trackday crowd may well complain it's too easy as the track is very wide and has plenty of run off but don't let that put you off. Very slippery in the wet though... | | Author | Rating | Driven With | Save Date | | Andrew Muir | | Porsche 964 Carrera 4 | 14:20 Wed 5 May 04 | We all got wet, and most of us found mud, gravel or grass at some stage. This circuit really does not do rain well... lots of standing water and despite the relative maturity of this (non-bookatrack) crowd, there were several "offs" and red flags. Still - it is historic. It is still cool to use the pit garage that might be used by Ferrari or Williams in a few weeks' time, and to drive the same lines that Michael and Jenson will be doing battle for... I will be back to do this in the dry, and will re-rate the circuit for its layout and interest-factor then. | | Author | Rating | Driven With | Save Date | | Tony Carter-inman | | BMW e34 M5 / Corrado VR6 | 16:18 Tue 6 May 03 | Not enough corners for such a huge circuit.
Very slippy in the wet.
I need to get there again in the dry. | | Author | Rating | Driven With | Save Date | | Jonathan Zink | | Nissan Pulsar GTI-R | 14:58 Thu 14 Nov 02 | Well maintained wide track with excellent run off areas! High speed corners and not suited to 4wd cars. Most of the bends are easily visable and infairness anyone could navigate this track, beginner or expert. If you have a rear wheel drive car is excellent for practising drifts, but no advantage to have 4wd - probably disadvantage due to high speed bends. Not worth the premium over other tracks. | | Author | Rating | Driven With | Save Date | | James Hardy | | PCGB | 16:31 Fri 9 Aug 02 | Have done this twice. Once in 73 RS omce in R32 GTR. Verdict: even with 500 BHP this circuit is way tooo fast, too big, starights too long corners too wide. It's too easy, yet the corners are often adverse camber which makes it an understeery circuit. If you've got a lightweight, quick handling motor that wont do more than 150/160 you'll get bored really quickly.

Opinions Ford FiestaZetec 1.4
This car has so much grip compared to power, making it feel like a really neutral car to drive, although for track day use its not that fun, but as a race car you cant ask for a better car. Rating: [ More Opinions ] Posted by: Sarah Dyson
