Directions
Spa – Francorchamps circuit is situated just outside of the village of Francorchamps.

From Calais head north towards Dunkirk. From this point you can either travel via Brussels or Lille. After either Brussels or Lille head towards Liege and follow the E40 round the Liege ring road. Follow the signs towards Verviers and exit at the A27 / E42 towards Verviers and Spa. Exit at junction 10 and follow the N640 towards the village of Francorchamps. At the La Source roundabout take the second exit following the bypass. At the next roundabout turn right and enter the circuit at the Ster entrance.

Vehicles over 2 metres high will need to use the gate at Blanchimont - a 5+ mile detour round the outside of the circuit – following the new by-pass, bearing right at all deviations.

Guys, I had a great day in Spa on the 22nd, but in the future you need to manage to keep the pitbox exits (as well in the pitlane as behind on the parking lot) free. I lost at least 30min-1hr of tracktime due to this.

The best circuit in the world? Not for me but still good. Takes a while to learn as it's 7 km long.Very nice scenery and height differences, most corners are fast but runoff is variable, also the closeness to barriers in places is not ideal.

No other circuit will be quite the same after driving this. Spa is the best track in europe, bar none. A mecca of trackdays, A must do venue for anyone with petrol in their veins. It has everything from elevation changes, slow technical, and high commitment fast corners, with stunning scenery topped off with a tangible historic atmosphere. A true drivers circuit that you really must do at least once in your life.

Awesome! If you go off track it is definitely your own fault; even in the wet!

Spa. Bloody ... hell .... I grew balls. Quickly. Eu Rouge. OMFG. Best experience of my life. Made the 'Ring seem like an airstrip.

A real track that lets you hang it all out. Not as "big balls" as it was, but an awful lot learned over 2 days!

Wow - fantastic circuit with Eau rouge one of the great challenges anywhere, not something that I think i could tire of. the rest of the circuit matches it and I would recommend it to anyone.

Two whole days of open pit lane and we still wanted more. What a fantastic circuit!! Everything you could possibly need but,"110mph in the wet up Eau Rouge" I dont think so!!!

If the Nurburgring is "The Green Hell" then this is heaven... You owe it to yourself and your car to drive this circuit at least once in your life. Simply breathtaking, and going through Eau Rouge is like Craner Curves uphill crossed with Paddock Hill Bend

Superb circuit with (IMO) something for everyone. Big gradient changes, tight chicanes, hairpins, medium and fast sweepers and not forgetting Eau Rouge... a truly sensational corner for those with commitment!

This is hallowed ground and is one of those circuits so steeped in history that it is a must do! What can I say? It really was a dream come true. It was wet when I was there which in fact made it more fun in a lot of respects and Eau Rouge at 110mph in the wet, wow!! I had a small coronary every lap when the Eau Rouge came into view after La Source. Simply fantastic and 4.5miles of it too!

Yokohama A032R
Soft compound. Used them at Brands Indy on a very hot day. They overheated after about 5 laps as the track temp was so high, but they remained very progressive. Before they overheated, they where great. If you use these on a heavy car, I suspect it's best to use them on a cooler day (but not wet). Make a fantastic road tyre as well. Turn in is fanbloodytastic.

Anglesey Circuit
I'd read about the track being good, bad and mickey mouse, considering it was my first time there, in a car I hadn't driven previously, I was impressed with the circuit, organisation and the tuition. Good location, not too busy (maybe due to winter forecast), lots of track time and a drying surface meant that as my confidence increased my laps improved, I thoroughly enjoyed it, the car (my newly acquired 944 S2) worked well amongst the mix of Caterfields and Elises, and everyone I saw and spoke to all seemed to be enjoying the day. The sweeping School was difficult to master at first but once I got the line, it was easy to replicate, Abbotts is where a few drivers went off, kicking up some mud, and I could never quite get the right line through that right hander, always seemed to be waiting for the power to come to me on the uphill section to Radar whcih was so good to get right, clip the concrete on the left then hard right, back end slides and you're pointing at the Back straight. Hairpin was another one which took some time to get right, but once it did, I found I could just get oversteer into the straight before Douglas. The final left right and left is a very quick, full throttle complex which if you get the line right means no braking at all. Although I tend to agree with other comments that its probably better suited to the Seven's, Elises, etc. but Tiff Needell showed it can be done in a Merc and a Jag on this week's Fifth Gear so I was happy my S2 performed well enough. Many thanks to Book-a-Track for a thoroughly enjoyable day.
