| Great fun for a trackday newbie like myself, lots of space to push things close to and above the limit and an interesting layout. Lovely sweeping corner at the top end and a selection of slow but interesting technical areas. My only grumble would be that the track consumed too much of my tyres :) Rating: [ More Opinions ] Posted by: Michael Canny This track is a bit of a go-kart circuit on steroids, just over a mile long and perched on the edge of the Irish Sea. A real variety of corners and gradients with plenty of spectacular views to distract the inattentive, make it a challenging circuit to drive. Corner one is "School Corner" leading into "Abbots". Go in too fast and you'll find the back end stepping out and the car heading towards the Marshalls post in the in-field ! The "Radar Complex" is a deceptive uphill blind left, followed by a tight right. The "Hairpin" is a what it says on the tin. "Douglas / Mountview" is an interesting downhill Left, Right, Left leading on to the main straight. The downside to all of this, is that when it rains, it comes in horizontal and the braking zone for the School Corner becomes like a ford.
