R300 Arrive & Drive Race Packages

2009 sees the addition of a brand new Caterham Superlight R300 to the BookaTrack.com hire fleet and a new service where the car can be hired for races. This brand new model is powered with a 175bhp Ford Duratec engine mated with the Caterham six speed gear box. The car specification also includes a limited slip differential, race suspension and Stack dataloggong.

As part of BookaTracks ongoing partnership with Caterham Cars and Fauldsport the car will be participating in the 2009 Powertorque Caterham Superlight R300 Championship. The series consists of 7 double header race weekends at a variety of UK circuits, with the highlight of the season being a Spa round of the championship.

Support Package

Fauldsport have been supporting Caterham racers since 2001 and are the defending team champions of the Caterham Roadsport A series. Drivers will be joining BookaTrack.com Director Jonny Leroux and 2008 Roadsport A 1st runner up James Sharrock in the Fauldsport team.

The arrive and drive race package includes the following:

  • Rental of a new fully specified Caterham R300 race car
  • Fuel and a brand new set of race tyres every weekend
  • Access to a comprehensive spares package
  • Championship registration and race entry fees
  • Full insurance (subject to a £2500 excess)
  • Race support with dedicated mechanic overseen by team principal Stuart Faulds
  • Driver coaching from team manager and Grade ‘S’ ARDS instructor Simon Mason
  • Use of the car and support at a pre race test day (not including the test day entry fee)
  • Discounted rates available for car hire on track days
