As well as our track day hire service we also offer the opportunity to race our standard R300’s (BAT 1 – 5), on an arrive and drive basis. All cars are race prepared and eligible to compete in the official Caterham Motorsport R300 Championship for single drivers or the CSCC Magnificent Sevens Championship for 2 drivers.

Our new in-house race team is led by Doug Hands who benefits from over 20 years motorsport experience including 10 years successfully running race cars in official Caterham Championships. Doug and his team of race mechanics have something to offer drivers from every level of experience from first timers to seasoned racers. The 2013 R300 championship is held over seven weekend race meetings, each consisting of a 20 minute qualifying session and 2 x 30 minute races.

For those of you who would like to experience our R300 race car in a more competitive environment, maybe with a view to race the cars at a later date, we are offering a number of test day hires at Donington Park. Not only does this give you the opportunity to time but also to download data from the on board Stack system and compare traces with other drivers. Our race team mechanics will be on hand to deal with any queries you may have with the car and to download car data for you.

We are also offering the option of track side tuition and data analysis from a professional ARDS race instructor to ensure to can maximise your potential in the car. Also if you would like an idea of how competitive your time would be on the Caterham grid, BaT Director and R300 race winner Jonny Leroux is available to drive with you and set times on the day. For either of these additional services please email for further details.

Testing prices and conditions are the same as our track day ones so please refer to our track car hire for details. Only track side tuition is available as passengers are not permitted on test days. Please enquire for group rates for test day hire, but note this is not a suitable corporate experience.

To be eligible to participate in our test days you must have the following:

Current MSA race license

Race suit, gloves, fire proof underwear and driving shoes

Race suitable crash helmet Please refer to the MSA Blue Book for specifications on the above.

Cadwell Park
Driven this twice, both times in the wet. Lovely track, if a little narrow, luckily BAT days arent overcrowded. Just watch the standing water in the dips on the straights, they can catch you out like they did to me. I'd still go back. It really is a mini-nurburgring.
