As we are not registered with the FSA, unfortunately on-track insurance is not available via BookaTrack.com Ltd. However, we highly recommend REIS (www.REIS.co.uk). REIS cover all of our insurance requirements from public liability and employers' liability, all risks road insurance through to on-track insurance for the Caterham rental cars.

With a similar philosophy to BaT, REIS are unlikely to be the cheapest insurers you will get a quote from. They do, however, offer the most complete service and exceptional customer service. You are also strongly advised to check the small-print for any cheaper policy you are quoted elsewhere - there's a good chance you're not comparing apples with apples.

In the unfortunate event of a claim, REIS have an in-house claims service that is fast and efficient and requires the minimum of paperwork. A few quid saved on a alternative policy is soon lost when you spend days on the phone chasing your claim.

Vehicle Insurance (On-Track) REIS offer individual 1-day insurance policies specifically for trackdays. This insurance is independent of your road policy and any claim will not need to be declared on your annual road insurance. Exact premiums will vary according to venue, date, organiser, driver experience and of course vehicle details, but as a rule of thumb you can assume it's going to be around 1% of the cars value with a 10% excess. Track day cover provides cover for: Impact damage to your vehicle, including the engine and transmission and loss by fire from any cause (excluding any malicious or deliberate acts) whilst on track You can insure your car for its full value (recommended) and any realistic value below that Multiple drivers acceptable Discounts available for tutored trackdays Packages for half days and summer evening events available

Vehicle Insurance (Road) REIS offer road insurance policies for sports or competition cars, which include a limited number of track days with approved organisers such as BookaTrack.com Ltd. This is a cost-effective way of getting track day cover for a few events per year but do be aware that your excess is still likely to be 10% of the cars value and that any on-track claim WILL affect your road policy renewal terms.

Personal Injury Insurance REIS can help take to take away some of the stress in the unfortunate event that someone is injured. They do so with simple and straight forward Personal Accident cover. Permanent and temporary disablement, loss of limbs and eye and death can all be covered.

Travel Insurance If you're joining BaT for one of our overseas trips then REIS can provide travel cover for any age up to 85 (subject to medical history) that includes your motorsport activities for one-off trips or annual policies. For European track days, also remember to take your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC, formerly the E111 Certificate).
