Peugeot 205
THERE IS NO 205 OPTION :( 205 GTI. Major bangs for your buck!!! At about 800-850 kgs, even the 1.6 (115Bhp) guise this is a great fun car to throw around, if you move to the 1.9 (130Bhp) or go as far as dropping in a Mi16 (160Bhp+) engine then fun turns to exhilaration. My only real criticism is that the suspension is a little soft as standard and the car sits too high, so consider making this the first mod. This will allows far more speed to be carried around the twisties and the power can be put down better. Around the faster circuits (Donington, Castle Combe) my Mi16 embarrasses standard Elise’s, Caterham’s, Westies and at the tighter circuits Porsche’s and TVR’s have to let you past. Whatever your budget you will be able to get a good car and make it better with a little work over time. You will struggle to get a better car for track and road use for £500-£5000. BUY ONE and get on the track. ***** given for the high pleasure per pound :) / £
