Hethel
Was my first track day. Cr@p weather almost made us decide against it, but glad we didn't. The Golf performed well - I had feared that I'd just be in the way of the big boys, but it wasn't the case. Has to be said that the rain was probably a large factor in this, still it was encoraging. The day was really well organised and I liked the open pit lane format. I found Hethel quite easy to get the hang of, but difficult to get right in all the important places. Still it is easy to go fast and even when I did lose it, there was no damage thanks to the run-off areas. All-in-all an excellent day. I will definately be doing this again.
