Chevrolet Corvette
1970 350/350hp What a car, certainly to look at and to listen to. Steering, brakes and suspension a nightmare though. Can you believe a single leaf spring trasversely across the rear?? Did amazing wheel-pokes though. best ever was 75yds of 10 inch wide black stripes and all the smoke that goes with it. Brought out the hooligan in me - did I need to say that? Lack of cornering ability of any kind and strictly 2 seater meant it had to go...
