Porsche 924 Turbo
Both the series 1 and 2 are good cars 147 mph in 1979), but the turbo design is not very good. The car lacks an intercooler and the turbo is only oil cooled. I owned a series 1 924 turbo and spent loads of money modifying it for trackdays. I fitted a 944 turbo intercooler, adjustable boost valve, roll cage and Leda suspension. It made a very good track car.
