BMW 3-Series
328 iSE (E46 1999 MY). The 3 series is no longer a "drivers car" and certainly not the ultimate driving machine. That said its handling is neutral and predictable and you have to try hard to get it out of shape. The 2.8 could do with more grunt (the 3.0 is SOOOOOO much better) and it cruises nicely.
