My local MG dealer let me have one for about four hours to 'test drive' - he must have been mad! Overall, pretty impressive, good handling very pointy and very old-school hot hatch (i.e. no suspension at all). Went round corners very fast, but didn't quite give the feedback when it really counted, something seemed slightly missing. Considering MG built this in less than a year using the dire 25 as a base, you can't help but be impressed. Engine sounded great (1.8 K series 160Bhp VVC), but didn't feel like it had all that power. Well priced and its British! Rating: [ More Opinions ] Posted by: Stephen Boulds |
