Fantastic little machine, dry handling is impecable when you get it right. The front slides easily in the wet but the plus side, however, is lift off overstear is easily achieved :o) Brakes tend to be quite spongy by the end of a track day and shorter stints on the track are required due to overheating. That said the engine is reliable as anything and is always eager and responsive. For the money these cars go for, you won't find much to match it - I sure as hell miss it since selling it!!

The CRX Del Sol Esi is great fun. It has very predictable handling but the brakes lock up far too easily. The rear end gets very light under braking. All this makes it a good fun car to drive. The Vti has ABS so it's a little more controlled under heavy braking, allowing you to enter the corners at a higher speed.

Had a VTEC one since Dec2000. Love the engine!! Handling generally Ok, outstanding if you get it right, frustrating if not & a bit of a mare in the wet. Lots of fun to be had though. Think it looks great as well. 4-and-a-little-bit stars

Mk2 VTEC - Added a turbo ! Bloody amazing road car, 220bhp and weighed around 1000Kg ! Mid range grunt and acceleration was phenomenal and after some mild fettling to the suspension it handled better than an Integra Type R. Unfortunately it really didn't suit trackdays: too much power through the front wheels, brakes couldn't cope and the engine was constantly overheating. Sold it to get a proper trackday toy (Caterham !)

Mk2 1.6i 16V - Brilliant FWD car, perfect balance and handling. Better torque than the VTEC and feels more nimble. Lack of grip on the front wheels and poor braking ability on track lets it down but on road it's perfect
