Series 1 rallye with the awesome 16v Gti engine. Lightweight and powerful fun on a budget. I have done many trackdays with my car and nothing gives me more pleasure than out dancing round other cars. Superb

My brother owned a 1.6 phase 2 rallye, and I can say they are brilliant. We have done many track days together, and with just a panel filter and chip it could easily beat myself in Rover with 280bhp and my mate in his Subaru with 240bhp, especially in the bends! It was rolling roaded at 112bhp and round corners could out run far more exotic cars costing 5 times as much. We are all good drivers but the chasis on this is un-real! If your on a budget and want a quick car i can thouroughly recomend it!!

1.5 Diesel. Noisy. Cramped. Slow as hell. But hey, it does 55 to the gallon and it's the other half's. There is a god after all!

106 rallye actually. more refined in 1.6 version, but bargain basement no frills thrills. 1.3 is manic. top car, sadly missed by me, especially as the guy i sold mine to wrote it off at cadwell 2 months later!

1.1 engine a little rocket it was!! Beautiful to drive, excelent handling. I miss it really much!
