Peugeot 306 GTi6/Rallye. Superb car with an excellent chassis which is throttle steerable. Responds well to lift off oversteer to control 'lines' on the track and quell understeer. Happy to drift through bends! Engine could do with more power (but who couldn't) but is willing to rev happily to the 7000rpm red line. Enough said..

306 Rallye/GTi-6, 6 Speed, 167bhp 2.0 16v. good blend of practicality and fun on the road, suprisingly quick even for a hot hatch, not worth the insurance nowadays though unfortunately (insure an elise for similar money). FWD means the fun is replaced with understeer on track though - shame as it's an excellent all rounder.
