But erm yep, usual story - lots of grip, excellent wear, not much progression but fine unless faced with standing water.
Quite heavy relative to other Caternail tyres so worsens ride. | | 16:45 Sun 11 Mar 07 | | You anit seen me Right | Soft compound.
Used them at Brands Indy on a very hot day.
They overheated after about 5 laps as the track temp was so high, but they remained very progressive.
Before they overheated, they where great.
If you use these on a heavy car, I suspect it's best to use them on a cooler day (but not wet).
Make a fantastic road tyre as well. Turn in is fanbloodytastic. | | 22:39 Wed 26 Jun 02 | | Harvey Nott | sticky when warm grips like a leach and only beaten by slicks and ACB 10's good in the wet with the right pressures which makes it a great tyre for everyday use on your 7ven.
Mine lasted 14 track days and some road work ,i must be driving to slow.......... | | 17:47 Thu 11 Apr 02 | | Graham Dash | Not like any normal road tyre. Grip levels generated in the dry are huge. On any proper race circuit, you can drive your A032R-shod car round the outside of any car with standard road tyres. | | 09:04 Mon 4 Feb 02 | | Andy Turnbull | Wow.. toptastic tyre. The ultimate non-slick tyre for your Caterham. Doesn't last too long (especially on airfields) but amazing levels of grip ! | | 12:04 Fri 16 Nov 01 |
