Mercedes-Benz E-Class
AMG E55. This is the most impressive car I have ever owned. Not only will it lap a circuit as quickly as any TVR I have owned, it will also swallow any amount of luggage you care to throw at it (although not at the same time as lapping the circuit obviously). Most at home blasting across Germany at huge speeds, but equally happy on an English back road. The high price of the car is offset by the relatively low running costs. Up to 27mpg, and a £250 service every 15-20,000 miles.
